A company with over 45 years' experience in the design and manufacture of instrument transformers, both current and voltage transformers.

Every transformer is designed, manufactured and individually tested at our factory in Colchester in the United Kingdom to ensure compliance with the relevant British, European and/or International Standard to which it has been specified. Transformers can also be designed and manufactured to comply with other national standards such as American, Canadian or Australian standards.

Our instrument transformers are the flexible component that allows our customers to standardise on other equipment and elements of design, whilst at the same time providing a tailored solution fulfilling their end user's requirements in that part of the electricity transmission and distribution system with which they are concerned.

Our strength is in designing and manufacturing instrument transformers for our customers to provide that flexible solution.

The product ranges on this website give an indication of the transformers we manufacture and provide suggestions of typical sizes, ratios and ratings. These are guidelines and the majority of our transformers are for bespoke customer applications, each with particular sizing, rating and finish requirements manufactured in response to specific quotation.
